I know I have been slacking on my blog. I don’t have too many readers, so I have not received too many complaints. Not too much has been going on lately. We are working on our New Years Resolutions: lose weight and stick to our budget. That does not leave much room for fun stuff, but what can you do.
TJ started his intermediate puppy classes last week. I must say he is the smartest puppy in the class!
The year of wedding has begun. I have my first Bridal Shower for my friend Elaine next month. Then, her wedding is in April. So far, this year we have 5 total weddings, 4 are out of state. So, I guess it is a good thing that we are being tight with money and calories. =)

Happy 2008!
Happy New Year! Bob and I have been busy having a wonderful holiday season. My brother was in town for a week and a half and we had a great time. The weekend before Christmas we celebrated my brother's 31st birthday and we went to my friend Naomi's Engagement Party. It was kind of weird to see some of my old friends from high school that I don't really talk to anymore. I used to be great friends with them and now I have nothing to talk to them about. For Christmas Eve I had to work. Boo! That night we had our annual Christmas Eve Party. It was a lot of work, but well worth it. On Christmas morning we had Bob's family over to our house. I got a Dyson from Bob! I know that may not be an exciting gift for everyone- but I love it! The vacuum works so well! We went to my parents house for Christmas afternoon and dinner. The stockings were crazy! We had overflow stockings in trash bags this year. My Dad seemed to have discovered the dollar store for the first time and raided it! My brother's fiance, Jessica, came into town for New Years. The weekend before we went to the Wilderness Lodge at Disney for lunch. We love going to the Whispering Canyon Cafe. It's a skillet buffet where the waiters are not afraid to have a hootin' tootin' good time! We also went to the Gaylord Palms Ice. Above is our family photo. It was a display of spectacular ice carvings in 9 degree weather. They had a train, igloo, lots of carved animals, a gingerbread house, a nativity scene and ice slides! We had a lot of fun, but it was really cold. Brr! For New Years we celebrated at my parents house. We ate lots of appetizers, played Scene It and counted down to '08 with champagne! We also used sparklers to spell our names. Bob's name is above- pretty cool! I hope everyone else had a fabulous holiday season- cheers to 2008!
